Viakoo Releases Video Assurance Service (VAS)

Viakoo, the security industry's only provider of service assurance and IoT applications management solutions for physical security systems, announces the release of its Video Assurance Service (VAS) at ISC West 2019 (booth #33087). Many small and medium-sized businesses do not have dedicated staff to manage their video systems themselves. This often results in failures going unnoticed creating gaps in the video record, called "missing video evidence". Unfortunately this missing video evidence isn't discovered until it is too late, when its needed for investigations or for compliance.

VAS is the solution to the problem, delivering an "outcome", without dedicated staff. Viakoo provides oversight, automatic problem detection, continuous automated diagnostics with recommendations on how to fix it, and then teams with partners to resolve the problem either remotely or onsite. Customers receive a weekly summary report.

The solution is perfect for integrators looking to deliver managed services and build recurring monthy revenue (RMR). VAS is currently being offered by Viakoo Partners', Stanley Security and PSA Security Network.

VAS addresses a key need in the security industry. As a managed service, VAS fits with the way many small and medium sized organizations buy other services for their business operations such as email, backup and disaster recovery, networking, website, and more.

"VAS offers integrators a powerful and proven way to generate RMR while making a digital connection with their customers," said Bud Broomhead, CEO, Viakoo. "VAS offers small and medium-sized end users, with assistance from our Partners, the ability to identify security risks and vulnerabilities in real time, and then solve those risks in a quick and efficient manner, while mitigiating future weaknesses."
