Tom Harrington Joins Securonix Board of Advisors

Former CISO of Citi to Advise Next-Gen SIEM Leader

Securonix, the leader in Next-Generation SIEM, today announced that Tom Harrington, former CISO of Citi, and former Associate Deputy Director of the FBI, has joined the Securonix Board of Advisors. In this role, Harrington will help Securonix drive innovation as well as advise customers on building an intelligence-led security monitoring and incident response program.

Harrington is a recognized cybersecurity leader with over 30 years of experience in global law enforcement, cybersecurity, and intelligence communities. Most recently, Harrington was a managing director and CISO for Citi where he was responsible for expanding cybersecurity initiatives focused on protecting Citi, its clients and customers. Prior to that, he retired as the Associate Deputy Director of the FBI, where he served 25 years.

In his role on the Board of Advisors, Harrington will lead the Securonix customer advisory board where he will collaborate with customer and industry CISOs to learn from problems and develop solutions to create a strong defense program from a people, process, and technology standpoint.
