In 1996, he joined KONE in service sales and quickly distinguished himself as one of the top producers in the U.S. A few years later, he was selected to join a group of emerging leaders working in Brussels, Belgium tasked to develop and implement a new global operating model across all of KONE’s business units and newly acquired companies.  There, he also led several strategic development projects focused on sales innovation and creating new sources of revenue.

“This is the perfect time to be joining Allied Universal as this company is leading the transformation of the traditional manned guarding business and investing in new ways to deliver value to its customers,” said Haugsland. “In many respects, it’s like joining a $7 billion start up. Here, I will have the opportunity to build and shape how we serve our clients with the ultimate goal of helping to make the places we live, work, learn and play more secure for all.”
