A Pleasant Surprise

Aside from the hot Las Vegas weather, this had to be considered an amazing success in the ISC record books.

Neither over packed with attendees or a bulging supply of vendors, by all accounts it was active and busy.

My first day out I counted almost 10,000 steps. Tuesday was 12,000 and Wednesday that number was off significantly.

The enthusiasm was off the chart.

I must say well done by SIA following the 2020 pandemic debacle.

Our sales guy, Brian Rendine and I were guests for dinner on Monday at Mon Ami Gabi. We tried like crazy to not talk shop, but work is never far from either of us. I think we came to the conclusion that the show was a success and is going well.

I didn’t see much social distancing or mask use.

If you haven’t been vaccinated, please do it right now. Just think what might have happen decades ago if we hadn’t embraced vaccines for any number of things. Please do vaccinate.

With all the good I want to point out that there was no carpeting in the aisles, and my legs are screaming about that. I tend to get so busy on the show floor it’s tough getting away for lunch. Hoping the convention center might up their game in food services.

More to come from this event. I have lots of follow up work about people and products. That will be coming soonest in one of our eNews products.
