Live from ISC West 2022 Roundup

Live from ISC West 2022 Roundup

ISC West 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada, is officially in the books. The conference was back in full swing this year after a small-scale return in summer 2021, and hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of attendees gathered to discuss and celebrate the security industry’s latest developments. Among the vendors were our partners from this year’s “Live From” program, AlertEnterprise and Salient Systems. We’d like to thank both organizations for collaborating with us and for letting us be their megaphone throughout the event.

AlertEnterprise (Booth 6071) brought its security convergence software that unites physical security, OT, IT and HR systems for coordinated access management and threat detection. Company CSO Mark Weatherford and CEO Jasvir Gill spoke at a session called “Why Digital Transformation and Security Are the Only Ways Forward” on Wednesday afternoon. Gill took the stage again on Thursday with Bioconnect CEO Rob Douglas to discuss the companies’ technology partnership on a Policy Based Access Control solution. AlertEnterprise also hosted packed customer happy hours Wednesday and Thursday afternoon both. Finally, the company’s recap videos of Day 1 and Day 2 captured the excitement of being able to return in person to large-scale events.

Salient Systems (Booth 10053) continued to promote its CompleteView VMS, a best-of-breed video management solution that is easy to use and deploy and is scalable to meet your enterprise needs for both today and tomorrow. It is open, interoperable and works with thousands of camera types—as well as many leading access control and analytics solutions. Grant Cowan provided a demonstration of how the solution helps manage workflow during live incidents. They also hosted a rousing Salient Customer Cocktail Hour on Thursday afternoon.

Once again, thanks to our partners at AlertEnterprise and Salient Systems for working with us! We’d also like to thank the organizers of this year’s ISC West conference for their time and efforts toward such a successful event. Finally, thanks to our readers for letting us be your eyes and ears on the ground in Las Vegas. Please contact Security Today if you’re interested in participating in “Live From” at a future event. We’ll soon be securing sponsorships for future events, including ISC East 2022 and GSX 2022!
