ESA Announces the Launch of the Security Nation Podcast

The Electronic Security Association (ESA) has launched the Security Nation Podcast, with its inaugural episode being released and announced at the Electronic Security Expo in Fort Worth Texas.

Security Nation Podcast will bring on security pros to discuss best practices, real-world experiences, industry forecasts, and more; featuring bi-weekly episodes with guests from all aspects of the electronic security and life safety industry.

“The vision for Security Nation Podcast is to connect the industry even more with a medium accessible from anywhere. From technician to general manager, from monitoring station operator to an equipment manufacturer, every type of security pro can find something relevant from the podcast,” said Hannah Boone, host of Security Nation Podcast. “It brings the voice of electronic security and life safety to you! Security pros will come on and be able to tell their story and share their experience with all our listeners. It will be the ever-present voice in an ever-changing industry.”

The first episode's guest is Jamie Vos, president of Security Solutions NW, and ESA’s Chairman from 2020-2022. They discussed his experience as ESA’s Chairman, how to adapt during challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and the importance of creating a foundation to improve buoyancy when problems arise. Many more topics of interest are planned for future episodes. Each episode will be around 30 minutes long and can be found anywhere you listen to podcasts along with the video version being available on YouTube.

Being a guest on the Security Nation podcast is exclusive to ESA Members only. Guests on the podcast will be provided with the embed code and tools to promote their episode at no cost.
