Allied Universal Names Tom Rulon VP of Business Development for Event Services Division

Division responsible for security at high-profile music festivals, concerts and sporting events

Allied Universal® today announced the appointment of Tom Rulon as vice president, business development -- Event Services.

Rulon is responsible for all of the Event Services division’s business development activities, including managing sales processes, responding to request for proposals and providing leadership to the growing business development team. The Allied Universal Event Services division is responsible for ensuring the safety of attendees, artists, athletes and the public at major high-profile music festivals and professional sports and college games events.

“We welcome Tom to our team and are confident that his knowledge and sales management expertise will help grow our business development processes and systems,” said Ty Richmond, president of Allied Universal Event Services. “In addition, his leadership expertise will play a critical role in growing and expanding our event services business nationally.”

With more than 20 years of sales leadership experience, Rulon offers a strong sales management background and expertise building high-performing sales teams in a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Allied Universal Event Services, he was director of sales at Bioventus, where he was among the top performers nationally. Rulon also held various sales management roles at Pfizer.

Rulon earned a bachelor of arts degree from San Diego State University.
