ESA Announces Call for Nominations: 2024 Board of Director Election

The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is pleased to announce the commencement of the annual election process for the Board of Directors. The Leadership Identification & Nomination Committee (LINC) invites Integrator and Associate Members of ESA in Good Standing, serving as Voting Representatives for their organizations, to participate in this crucial process.

“Those that serve as an ESA Director have the industry’s respect.” says Kirk MacDowell, LINC’s Chairman. “Directors take an oath to serve the industry, not their specific company. Leadership matters and the LINC committee welcomes nominations for the 2024 Board of Directors.”

This year's election will focus on filling the following positions:

  • Integrator Director: Three (3) positions for two-year terms
  • National Company Director: One (1) position for a two-year term
  • Associate Member Director: One (1) position for a two-year term
  • Qualified members interested in contributing to the association's leadership are encouraged to submit their nominations by February 15, 2024, via the application process.

The Nominating Committee will unveil all qualified candidates on March 25, 2024. Subsequently, electronic ballots will be distributed on April 29, 2024, with completion required by May 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM (Central). The formal installation of the elected directors is scheduled for the Annual Membership meeting on June 3, 2024, at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Louisville, KY. Newly elected candidates will officially assume office on July 1, 2024.

The ESA extends gratitude to all members for their active participation in this vital process.
