Security Industry Association Expands Its Team to Better Serve Its Members

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has welcomed four new members to the SIA team to support the association’s members and initiatives: Rachel Tayag, associate director of learning and development; Adriana Lopez Cadima, senior manager of design and videography; Natalie Robinson, senior manager of member services; and Adom Yusuf, senior manager of standards and technology.

Rachel Tayag – associate director of learning and development – started in broadcast television at what is now Warner Brothers Discovery before moving into the learning and development space. She has spearheaded the integration of learning management systems and driven content creation efforts for global membership organizations like AVIXA and loves crafting innovative online learning solutions and fostering collaborative relationships, which will help SIA to grow its SIAcademy learning resources and transforming publications and research reports into interactive education material. Tayag earned her B.S. in electronic media and film and an M.A. in media studies from Towson University.

Adriana Lopez Cadima – senior manager of design and videography – is responsible for managing SIA’s graphic and video presence for all platforms. Before taking on her current position, she worked as a brand marketing producer for NBCUniversal Local/Telemundo 44 for over 10 years, where her expertise in producing creative video and digital content strengthened customer relations and delivered an industry-leading competitive advantage. Lopez was awarded 10 Capital Emmy Awards during her career at NBCUniversal Local. She holds a bachelor’s degree in film and video studies from George Mason University.

Natalie Robinson – senior manager of member services –has over 17 years of experience in the security industry working for such companies as GE Security and Interlogix. She brings a well-rounded level of experience, having worked in customer service, marketing, pricing and sales. Robinson’s focus will be on promoting SIA’s best in class learning and development programs, member retention and recruitment and overall member engagement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Illinois.

Adom Yusuf – senior manager of standards and technology – supports SIA in developing industry projects and initiatives that align security technologies with industry best practices, standards and guidelines. She is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Science from Towson University. With a robust background in membership management, Yusuf has held significant roles as a senior manager for membership and meetings at the American Iron and Steel Institute and as a specialist at the Association of Public Health Laboratories. She is passionate about fostering collaboration within the industry, promoting volunteerism and mentoring professionals in SIA’s efforts.
