Live from GSX 2024: Day 3 Recap

And GSX 2024 in Orlando, is officially in the books! I’d like to extend a hearty congratulations and a sincere thank-you to our partners in this year’s Live From program—NAPCO, Eagle Eye Networks, Hirsch, and LVT.

Even though the show’s over, keep an eye on our GSX 2024 Live landing page for continued news and developments related to this year’s vast array of exhibitors and products. And if you’d like to learn more about our Live From program, please drop us a line—we’d love to work with you in Las Vegas at ISC West 2025.

During the show, NAPCO introduced CA4K v1.2, the latest version of its enterprise security management platform. The solution integrates with Alarm Lock wireless access locks, Continental Controllers, and other technology partners specializing in intercoms, biometrics, video, and visitor management.

The updated version features a redesigned interface for easy user and credential management—including mobile. Optimized for Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022, the software offers remote administration via web client and app.

LVT was showing off some of its mobile surveillance technology at its booth. The same technology is being used by the City of San Francisco in a new pilot program. Three cameras recently arrived in the city with more arriving soon. Each of the mobile security units has a 22-foot mast with three cameras.

“LVT is proud to partner and support the city’s drug and crime reduction initiatives to help increase life safety and property protection here in San Francisco,” said Mark Cranney, LVT Chief Revenue Officer. “I’m confident that the Liveview Technologies platform will assist SFPD and other city and county agencies to detect, deter, and defend in high crime areas and situations, such as open-air drug markets, and smash and grabs." One of the products showcased by Hirsch at GSX included Vision AI. Driven by artificial intelligence, the software is designed to offer strong accuracy even in the most challenging and complex environments. It’s part of the Velocity Vision Ecosystem, Vision AI integrates into the existing Velocity Vision video management system.

The software specializes in perimeter protection, smoke/fire detection, object tracking, anomaly detection, slip/fall, crowd analysis, forensic search and more.

Eagle Eye Networks was all about artificial intelligence at the show. The company was showcasing how AI is reshaping the security landscape and offering a number of tailored solutions no matter a budget or objectives.
