Hanwha Vision Unveils New Multi-sensor SolidEDGE Camera Powered by NVIDIA Jetson Platform

Hanwha Vision is expanding its SolidEDGE serverless camera system lineup with the Multi-sensor SolidEDGE, a 4-channel AI PTRZ multi-directional camera powered by the NVIDIA Jetson™ platform.

The new Multi-sensor SolidEDGE (model PNM-C32084RQZ-8XE4T-W) can record up to 16 camera streams with its embedded Wisenet WAVE VMS server and 4TB of onboard storage (2 x 2TB SSD). Also included is a preinstalled instance of the Wisenet WAVE AI Plugin, providing a 30-day free trial of AI object detection to traditional non-AI camera devices on a network. This combination, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson platform, offers a comprehensive and reliable serverless recording and monitoring solution.

“Hanwha Vision’s camera integration with the NVIDIA Jetson module and AI app ecosystem provides a wider range of uses with an easier path to AI implementation,” said William Rodriguez, Senior Product Manager, Hanwha Vision America. “The addition of the NVIDIA Jetson AI capabilities powered by NVIDIA's latest system-on-a-chip technology, plus the newest WAVE AI plugin, delivers enhanced performance, efficiency, and intelligent camera capabilities.”

The new camera delivers AI object classification and detection capabilities unavailable on competitive models. Newly added Boolean Logic rules give users new possibilities when setting up event actions. The camera’s WiseNRII and Preferred Shutter Speed features eliminate noise and motion blur for clear imagery in all conditions, while AI technology monitors humans and vehicles with loitering and line-crossing analytics. The camera complies with Secure boot standards and uses signed and encrypted firmware.

The integration with NVIDIA is the latest example of Hanwha Vision’s recent efforts to incorporate AI features and capabilities across its product lines to boost their performance to unprecedented levels.
