Napco Access Pro’s Continental Enterprise Security Management Platform, GSA Certified, FIPS 201 Approved

Napco Access Pro, a division of NAPCO Security Technologies, is pleased to announce its CA4K Enterprise Security/Access Control/Video Platform, having undergone rigorous testing and evaluation, is now FIPS 201 Approved, using the FIPSlink Validation Client validation system from IdentityOne, a PC-based solution for three-factor authentication, verifying FIPS 201 credential data and matching a live biometric against the templates stored on the card.

As a GSA Certified, FIPS-201 compliant solution, Continental Access can now be used in the facilities used by over 3 million Federal government employees and contractors, for Federal personal identity verification, meeting the control and security objectives of the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12, and supporting technical interoperability among PIV systems of Federal departments and agencies.

As an approved Physical Access Control System (PACS), the Continental Access product meets security and functional requirements set by GSA’s FIPS 201 Evaluation Program and is approved for use by the Federal Government under the 13.01 Topology category, for end-to-end systems which integrate components from three categories (PACS Infrastructure; Validation System; and Veridt PIV Reader) together through software (SDK or API).
