Gallagher Appoints Federal Manager

Mariah Rimbert joins the security solutions provider to lead growth across the U.S. West Coast and Midwest.

Gallagher Security has appointed Mariah Rimbert as the federal business development manager for the Americas, a move intended to bolster the company’s presence in the U.S. government sector.

Based in Albuquerque, Rimbert joins the Government Programs team with a focus on expanding agency relationships throughout the West Coast and Midwest. In her new role, she will collaborate with federal agencies and integration partners to deploy high-assurance access control and intrusion detection systems within mission-critical environments.

Rimbert transitions to Gallagher Security from Sandia National Laboratories. Her professional background includes the evaluation of emerging security technologies, management of testing and validation programs, and coordination with vendors to ensure secure system deployments.

“I’m really excited to build on the relationships we already have across the West Coast and Midwest,” Rimbert said. “While many government customers are concentrated on the East Coast, there are so many opportunities in regions we haven’t fully engaged yet.”

Rimbert noted that her primary interest lies in the integration of new technologies into established security infrastructures.
“One of the things I enjoy most is looking at emerging technologies and figuring out how they integrate with the systems our customers already rely on,” she said.

Jeff Fields, director of government programs at Gallagher Security, said Rimbert’s technical background in high-security federal environments will be a significant asset to the firm’s regional strategy.

“Mariah’s experience and her deep understanding of access control and intrusion detection systems will add tremendous value to both our team and our partners,” Fields said. “Just as importantly, she understands the relationships and trust that underpin success in the federal space.”

The appointment follows a period of increased investment by the company in resilient security solutions designed specifically for federal regulatory requirements.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
