Mappedin to Showcase AI Indoor Mapping at ISC West

Digital floor plans provide real-time situational awareness for emergency response and venue management.

Mappedin is set to demonstrate new AI-powered indoor mapping solutions designed to accelerate incident response times for security personnel. The company will debut the capabilities of its Security Center platform at the ISC West conference at The Venetian Expo from March 23-27.

The platform creates digital indoor maps that identify entry and egress points, corridors, and rooms. The software integrates dynamic routing and navigation with the precise location of critical infrastructure, including fire alarm control panels, utility shut-offs, and sensors.

By layering this data with video management, access control, and alarm systems, the platform provides security teams and first responders with real-time situational awareness.

“When an alarm sounds, the vital questions security teams and emergency responders must answer are exactly where is the incident happening and what are the resources immediately available to resolve it,” said Brian McIlravey, Mappedin director of public safety and enterprise security solutions.

The system uses AI to allow management to customize digital maps for web and mobile devices. The platform is designed to operate without the need for complex BIM software or specialized IT training. Users can upload existing floor plans and use AI tools to add safety annotations, images, and links for specific map objects.

The Mappedin Security Center will be demonstrated as an embedded solution within the Thrive Logic VMS platform. Demonstrations are scheduled at the Network Optix and Gallagher Security booths, as well as the ISC Startups Pavilion.

Mappedin currently has more than 6.5 billion square feet of interior space mapped across more than 100 countries.

    ResponderLink

Shooter Detection Systems (SDS), an Alarm.com company and a global leader in gunshot detection solutions, has introduced ResponderLink, a groundbreaking new 911 notification service for gunshot events. ResponderLink completes the circle from detection to 911 notification to first responder awareness, giving law enforcement enhanced situational intelligence they urgently need to save lives. Integrating SDS’s proven gunshot detection system with Noonlight’s SendPolice platform, ResponderLink is the first solution to automatically deliver real-time gunshot detection data to 911 call centers and first responders. When shots are detected, the 911 dispatching center, also known as the Public Safety Answering Point or PSAP, is contacted based on the gunfire location, enabling faster initiation of life-saving emergency protocols.

  • A8V MIND

    A8V MIND

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
