Access management firm Wolflok will showcase its high-security lock boxes at the ISC West trade show this week, amid a growing trend of U.S. municipalities mandating the devices for commercial and residential properties.
The company is returning to the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas one year after its initial U.S. market launch. The exhibition coincides with new legislation in jurisdictions such as Saugerties, New York, where officials recently approved a law requiring exterior wall-mounted lock boxes on multi-family residential buildings, schools, and commercial properties.
These boxes provide emergency responders with immediate access to keys or entry information during a crisis, reducing response times and preventing property damage caused by forced entry.
Wolflok’s hardware features patented illuminated buttons and multi-push technology supporting more than 9.7 million passcode combinations. The units are designed with anti-pick technology and anti-drill hinge pins to prevent unauthorized access.
The products have earned LPS1175 Issue 8 A10 and B1 attack security ratings from the Loss Prevention Certification Board. According to the company, the units are lab-tested to withstand 120,000 openings, representing approximately 80 years of use.
In addition to emergency services, the lock box technology is used to manage access for home healthcare providers, facility management teams, and short-term rental properties.
Wolflok will be located at Booth 35089 during the event, which runs March 23-27.
