I-View Now
I-View Now version 2.0 is a complete redesign to include ad-hoc reporting features, the ability for a central station or a dealer to instantly access their video and signaling data, and improved user interface. Additional features include walk test functionality and an interface to activate accounts. The walk test function ensures that a system has been correctly configured with each alarm zone and camera view while the new activation screen allows accounts to be added with only 4 simple pieces of information: site name, CSID, zip code and e-mail address.

Aiphone
Aiphone Corporation, manufacturer of intercom and entry security products, announces the release of the IS-IPDVF-HID, a new IP video door station for their award winning system, the IS Series. The IS-IPDVF-HID connects directly to a local area network (LAN) with PoE using standard CAT5e wire. Each door station is assigned a unique IP address for identification on a network. The embedded HID ProxPoint Plus proximity card reader allows the IS-IPDVF-HID to easily integrate with new or existing access control systems.

AMAG Technology, an access control, IP video and intrusion detection (IDS) solution provider, releases SymmetryWEB, a client software that allows an unlimited number of users to remotely access a Symmetry Security Management System via a web interface to manage security. The SymmetryWEB client interface is designed to enable remote card holder and credential management for the Symmetry SMS. Security and building personnel can set up new card holders and assign access rights for readers and doors to them. An intuitive, user-friendly interface displays the applications, card holders and devices available to the user, according to their privileges.

emerald is the evolution of the traditional access control reader from CEM Systems, a brand of Tyco Security Products. As one of the industry’s most multi-functional Intelligent Access Terminals, emerald features a reader and controller in one, a scramble keypad for PIN authentication, built-in Voice over IP (VoIP) intercom functionality and a range of remote applications that uniquely provide security intelligence at the door. Remote applications enable emerald to become a security intelligence point displaying real time security information and statistics, such as card status and top system alarms. STRATTEC Security Corporation offers the 6-foot BOLT Cable Locks featuring a pin and loop design to provide flexible length options. The BOLT Cable Locks are made from 1/4-inch coiled cable with 1/16-inch black vinyl coating and are coil sprung for compact storage. They feature Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology that permanently programs the lock to the owner’s vehicle ignition key. Once the ignition key is inserted into the lock cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key.

STRATTEC Security Corporation offers BOLT Receiver Locks for Class I through Class V hitches. BOLT Receiver Locks feature the company’s patented one-key lock technology that is designed to permanently program the lock to the specific vehicle’s ignition key, eliminating the need for multiple keys. When drivers insert their ignition key into the lock cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The Receiver Lock features an automotive-grade lock shutter to keep out debris, as well as a six-plate tumbler sidebar that prevents picking and bumping.
aptiQ
Access control administrators can now simplify credential enrollment by using one of two new readers, the aptiQ SUSB89 USB Reader or the aptiQ Serial Enrollment Reader, to enroll a smart card into their access control system using their own computer. No software is required to operate either reader. Both readers function on any operating system. This automatic transfer of information makes it much easier for the user and saves significant time. Each reader is compatible with aptiQ smart credentials, including MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESfire EV1, both of which provide higher security than traditional proximity cards.
