Atsumi Electric Co Ltd
The newly developed TriWatcher method from Atsumi Electric Co., Ltd. realizes high precision outdoor vigilance by discriminating/eliminating false alarm factors. Choose from 2 kinds of coverage patterns: wide angle, where the unit is installed in a high place, or pet alley, where the unit does not detect movements of objects that are lower than the height installed. By adopting a special visible-light cut filter, the unit considerably blocks external lights such as sunlight or car headlights, etc. It is equipped with newly designed spherical Fresnel lens which improves the unit's non-detect performance of small objects such as small animals, etc.

Genetec
Genetec announced the availability of Stratocast, its powerful Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) powered by Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Azure cloud-computing platform. Stratocast delivers high-end and reliable video surveillance service for small and mid-sized businesses, without the costs and complexities associated with installing and managing on-premise hardware and storage. Stratocast also offers a perfect hybrid solution for Genetec enterprise customers to easily deploy video surveillance within satellite or remote locations.
ComNet
ComNet introduced a video encoder/decoder designed for those applications where temperature extremes, vibration, shock, voltage transients and humidity with condensation are present. The all-new CNVETX1 video encoder/decoder is industrially hardened for use in the most extreme operating environments. The CNVETX1 is a single channel video encoder or decoder. It accepts an incoming baseband video signal with duplex audio and serial data for camera PTZ control, encodes it to H.264, MPEG-4, MPEG-2 or MJPEG video compression standards and inserts it onto an Ethernet network.
B and B Electronics
B&B Electronics launched its next generation PoE (Power over Ethernet) and PoE+ media converters featuring gigabit (1000Mbps) speed. The new converters can power remote, high-bandwidth devices that require gigabit speed that lack a nearby power outlet over existing copper wire infrastructure (CAT5 cable or better), concurrently with the Ethernet data stream. Such high-bandwidth devices include IP surveillance cameras, plant equipment, VoIP phones and RFID readers.
Corvus Integration Inc

Orlaco
Orlaco Products has developed quality camera systems for ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) vehicles. Orlaco offers several total (plug & play) vision solutions for airport crash trucks. Their DEVS basic solution contains a robust, waterproof thermal imaging (far infrared) camera, mounted on a pan & tilt unit, with tailor-made cables and a 12” display. The system is controlled by joystick. As recommended by the FAA advisory, it is possible to build out the system with an easy yet durable video recorder. Next to that, more and more customers want to include a daylight zoom camera, rearview camera and even sideview cameras. The whole system is modular, so Orlaco can configure it to meet the customer’s requirements. Last but not least, Orlaco can carry out control integration in, for example, the ARFF Vehicle’s CANbus system.
