The PalmSecure was recently deployed throughout the Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) as a part of a solution to effectively register patients' information, and protect their medical records and identities. It has the largest user base for any biometrically powered patient registration solution in North America, and its use is also widespread throughout Japan, with more than 15,000 sensors already installed in banks, universities, hospitals and private condominiums.
