Dotworkz Launches Online Training Center

Dotworkz Systems Inc., a surveillance video monitoring equipment provider, has rolled out a new platform that extends the reach of its customer service: a live, on-line product Training Center accessible at www.dotworkz.com, complete with real-time video and audio.

Specially designed to allow Dotworkz engineers and customers to "meet" over the Internet, the Training Center is the only such service in the security products industry.

Customers can schedule their private Training Center meeting by calling 866-575-4689 or by e-mailing from the Dotworkz Web site. At the scheduled time, the customer calls in and a Dotworkz representative will emerge on the browser page to answer questions and, most importantly, visually provide a demonstration of a Dotworkz product, installation method or other issue at the customer's pace and targeted specifically to their needs.

"This is a great day for Dotworkz customers because it is the first time a major security products manufacturer has offered real-time, virtualized hands-on training," said Will Ferris, president of Dotworkz. "Other than traveling to the customer's business, it is the closet thing available to delivering in-person training on our equipment and solutions. This transformational platform dramatically increases the speed, personalization and overall effectiveness of training, while completely eliminating travel expenses."

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
