United Arab Emirates Hotel Uses IP Video Solution

March Networks, a provider of intelligent IP video and business analysis applications, announced recently that CIEFFE, a March Networks Company, has been selected by a leading international hospitality group to supply its award-winning IP video surveillance solution for installation at the customer’s premiere hotel property in the United Arab Emirates.

The customer, which manages some of the world’s most prestigious hotels and hospitality-related businesses, selected the CIEFFE portfolio of interoperable encoders, standard resolution and megapixel cameras, video analytics and advanced video management software as the backbone of its phased security deployment.

The initial implementation includes more than 160 IP cameras and integrated video management software. The solution was chosen for its exceptional video quality, and sophisticated video monitoring and event handling functionality, which meets the demanding performance requirements of the operator. Its flexible architecture enables future expansion and allows the customer to ultimately deploy an integrated IP video surveillance network across all of its properties worldwide.

“We are extremely pleased to have been selected as the IP video management solution of choice for one of the world’s leading luxury hospitality operators,” said Peter Strom, president and CEO, March Networks. “The advanced functionality of our solution is perfectly suited to the high performance security and surveillance requirements of commercial property managers. We look forward to building our position as a leading IP video management supplier throughout the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere in the Middle East.”
