Todo lo Nuevo en el Expo

Todas las ferias comerciales son basante similares: La gente que va quieren saber de lo nuevo y, muchas veces, ustedes quieren saber cuales productos nuevos van  hacer los mas exitosos.

Vi un producto en el Expo que debutó originalmente en ISC West. Digiop, una compañía de inteligencia de vídeo basado en Indianapolis, presentó un diseño que fue construido en colaboracíon con Dell, la compañía gigante de las computadoras.    

La serie Advantage viene con capacidades híbridos y integración a sistemas de partidos terceros, trayendo integración visual a tu negocio. El sistema híbrido de manejar vídeos fue construido por Dell de acuerdo con especificaciones dadas por Digiop.  Lo bueno de eso es que el sistema puede ser configurado para proveer meses de videos e audio en tiempo real y de alta resolución. Y la serie se puede expandir cuando necesitas mas cámaras o seguridad. Estos productos proveen el poder del tiempo real a usuarios que usan esta tecnología en sus departamentos de operaciones, mercadeo, mercancías y IT.

Durante el primer día del Expo Seguridad, tuve una experiencia interesante: Conocí a dos muchachos de Rusia que han estado viviendo en Ciudad México por diez años. 

Yo siempre he estado fascinado con la Unión Soviética y estaba curioso de por qué decidieron mudarse a México. Cuando les pregunte sobre las diferencias economicas de tener su negicio en las Américas versus en Rusia, ellos rapidamente me recordaron que la
Unión Soviética se disolvió mas de diez años atras.

Les pregunte: ¿Por qué no decidieron expandir desde Moscú a varios puntos del mundo? Seguridad es algo necesario en todos los países.

Shamil Sharapudinov, director general, e Alexey Aleksyutkin, gerente de seguridad, de Axon, dijeron que el mundo de seguridad se ha puesto tan pequeño que Axon trabaja en  Ciudad México pero en otros países tambien. Sin embargo, ellos dicen que México es un mercado muy progresivo para IP de videovigilancia y soluciones analógicas. 
Las oficinas principales están en Moscú pero tienen oficinas en Los Angeles y Washington D.C.

Para mi, hablando con Shamil e Alexey fue una excelente lección de educación cívica, adaptabilidad cultural y ciencias económicas cuando me explicaron sus opciones de mercado vertical en el sector público. Por ejemplo, en Moscú, mas de 100,000 cámaras  de Axon han sido integrados en unos de los proyectos más grandes de la ciudad. 

Mañana voy a reportar sobre varias empresas de EE.UU. que tienen intereses en México y en América Latina. Tambien voy a intrevistar el director executivo de ALAS. Espero que me acompañen y leen el boletín informativo de mañana
