Protection One Names Rich Hewitt as Commercial Sales Director

Protection One, a privately owned electronic security company, announced that Rich Hewitt has been named commercial sales director. In his role, Hewitt will be responsible for overseeing and growing commercial sales companywide for Protection One.

Hewitt brings to Protection One a wealth of experience gained from his 20 years in the security industry. At ADT Security Services, Hewitt held positions in residential, small business and commercial sales, was area manager responsible for sales, service, installation and administration, served as national account sales manager and, most recently, regional director of national accounts. Throughout his tenure, Hewitt received significant recognition for his leadership at ADT.

“Rich has extensive experience in building and driving a professional sales force focused on anticipating the needs of customers,” said Joe Mac McConnell, vice president of residential and commercial sales. “The addition of Rich to our team is one that we are excited about as his expertise and familiarity with the market will provide an invaluable resource to Protection One. I have no doubt that his in-depth knowledge of the changing security landscape will help to bolster Protection One’s already robust commercial business.”

Hewitt is also Board Certified in Homeland Security Level IV (CHS IV) as well as Sensitive Security Information (SSI). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from The University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and is a regular guest speaker at the School of Business at The University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.
