Panasonic Continues To Invest In PSDN Program

Panasonic System Networks Co. of America continues to highlight the Panasonic Solution Developer Network Program at ASIS.

At Wednesday’s Panasonic Press Dinner at Nana, a five-star restaurant named after the famed Russian oil paining by G. Suchorowsky, Bill Taylor, president of Panasonic System Networks Co. of America, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to further compatibility, interoperability and system/product integration.

On the show floor, I received a first-hand look at the A+ Classroom Audio system, which highlights compatibility, interoperability and product integration perfectly. The system includes two wireless microphones, three infrared receivers and a portable sound system, which is ideal for K-12 schools, technical colleges and continuing education and training centers.

The system is designed to reduce voice fatigue for teachers, while enhancing the learning experience for students. The wireless microphones, which is typically worn around the neck from a lanyard, also feature a panic button as a security feature that allows teachers to discreetly send alerts during emergencies.

Once activated, the monitoring station can access real-time video of the incident from the cameras inside the classroom for situational awareness. The Interactive Whiteboards bring state-of-the-art technology into the classroom. They are compatible with Panasonic network document camera to display textbook images, reports and presentations.
