Next Level Upgrades Solution to Integrate Multiple Subsystems

The upgraded NLSS Gateway Micro, the industry’s first networked solution combining the essential elements of a sophisticated physical security system into a single platform, is now available, according to an announcement by Next Level Security Systems.

The software integrates networked video management, IP access control, video analytics and intrusion from the point of manufacture. This approach allows data from these traditionally separate subsystems to be correlated without custom integration, while combined data is available to operators through a single, intuitive user interface.

“With the introduction of the new NLSS Gateway Micro, we have transformed the market with the product’s high level of enhanced integration, feature-rich capabilities, remote management options and price structure,” said Pete Jankowski, CEO and chairman. “We strive to simplify the use and deployment of networked security systems throughout our product portfolio, and we designed the NLSS Gateway Micro to be offered at one low price without licensing fees to achieve this goal.”

The gateway supports up to 16 streams of networked video in various resolutions and formats, and handles access control panels and readers for multiple doors. It can easily scale from a standalone unit to an enterprise-class system and delivers advanced features such as auto discovery and auto provisioning of edge devices, including cameras and access control hardware to ease installations. When combined with NLSS Remote Management Services, users have the ability to access, configure and monitor all features of the NLSS Gateway Micro across multiple sites from anywhere and at any time through Web browsers and mobile devices.

“After a successful 2010 in which the NLSS Gateway won multiple industry awards including two ESX Maximum Impact Awards, Security Products’ 2010 Product of the Year in Network-Centric Security and ASIS Accolades 2010, we are pleased to introduce this newest version of the NLSS Gateway Micro,” said Jumbi Edulbehram, vice president of Business Development. “Although the solution can easily scale to an enterprise-class system, it is ideal for the small-to-medium business market, which is primed to take advantage of the benefits of easy-to-deploy, networked-based technologies.”
