VideoIQ Receives Lenel Factory's OpenAccess Certification

VideoIQ has received Lenel factory certification, becoming a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program. The Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program validates software interfaces to OnGuard, Lenel's flagship product, demonstrating to the market that program companies have developed standard, supportable interfaces that properly expand capabilities for OnGuard customers.

VideoIQ's Lenel factory certification authenticates the interoperability between the OnGuard access system and VideoIQ's video surveillance solutions, allowing joint customers to proactively control, monitor and respond to potential security threats.

VideoIQ iCVR cameras and encoders deliver up to half a terabyte of intelligent, onboard NVR storage for months' worth of recording. With full onboard NVR storage, VideoIQ eliminates the need for any external storage NVRs and the need to back-haul video to centralized storage – reducing bandwidth consumption by more than 90 percent compared to traditional IP and high-definition surveillance systems. And with VideoIQ's award-winning, 100 percent self-calibrating, adaptive analytics, threats can be automatically detected, verified and addressed with the greatest accuracy and lowest false alarm rate available on the market – ensuring security issues are identified and mitigated before incidents occur.

OnGuard offers advanced access control, alarm monitoring, digital video, intrusion detection, asset tracking, information security integration, credential production and employee- and visitor-management functionality.

"VideoIQ has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard," said Joshua Phillips, director of marketing for Lenel. "We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program."

"VideoIQ dramatically simplifies IP surveillance installation and infrastructure while delivering true real-time threat detection that is simple to install, easy to maintain and cost-efficient," said Mark Gally, vice president of marketing at VideoIQ. "Being certified by Lenel to interface with OnGuard allows us to provide a comprehensive security and access control solution to our joint customers without any fears of complex customer integrations or installation complications."
