Becrypt Appoints Head of Global Head of Marketing

Becrypt, a supplier of encryption and data security solutions, has appointed Keith Rickets as global head of marketing. Ricketts is responsible for all marketing activities across Becrypt’s worldwide operations. This will include building on Becrypt’s position and devising strategic market initiatives to strengthen it within international markets. A major focus for Ricketts will be the continued development of Becrypt’s U.S. operation as this market remains a key growth opportunity for the company.

Before joining Becrypt, Ricketts held a several marketing roles with Lawson Software, culminating in his appointment as an industry marketing director for the United States and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There Ricketts created marketing strategies that materially improved revenue-generation and margin-contribution, he managed international teams based in a variety of locations, and he worked with key industry partners such as IBM and Microsoft. Before Lawson Software, Ricketts was head of marketing at business intelligence software company Ardentia Software, and before that he was a marketing consultant specializing in the independent software vendor market with Marketing Fusion

On his appointment Rickets commented, “I was attracted to Becrypt by the cutting-edge technology they have developed for the IT security market and the chance to work in a global role for a company headquartered in the U.K.. Ricketts’ appointment underlines Becrypt’s commitment to developing and expanding into new markets, particularly in the U.S., Europe and worldwide. The company has already achieved significant market share with the development and sales of its award winning encryption, end point security and mobile working solutions, both to government and corporate clients.
