AMAG Technology Selects Mike Mostow for Vice President of Government Systems

AMAG Technology has appointed Mike Mostow, a 15-year security industry and government security market veteran, as vice president of government systems. Mostow will be based in AMAG's Arlington, Va., office where he will lead and manage the government systems sales and sales engineering team, and develop and implement strategies and plans to further expand and better support AMAG's growing base of Symmetry homeland security management system resellers and end users. Mostow will report to AMAG's senior vice president of sales and marketing, Matt Barnette.

"Mike's management and security industry experience, along with his thorough knowledge of the government security market, made him the ideal candidate for this new position," Barnette said. "With Mike leading the Government Systems team, I am confident that AMAG's government market business will continue to grow and that we will be able to sustain the exceptional levels of customer service and support that our government resellers and end users have come to expect from us."

"I am very excited to be a part of AMAG and about the opportunity to manage the Government Systems team in particular," Mostow said. "My decision to join AMAG was based largely on its presence in and commitment to the government market. We [AMAG] also have the unique ability to provide a fully compliant access control and true intrusion detection and management capability in one tightly integrated package, which is exactly what government customers need and want in a security management system."

Before joining AMAG, Mostow was vice president of sales for the surveillance group at ICx Technologies, where he successfully led and managed a sales team focused on the government and critical infrastructure markets. Mostow has also held prior government market sales leadership positions at Stanley Security Solutions and Johnson Controls.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
