CloudPassage Hires Deepa Prashant as Vice President of Finance and Administration

CloudPassage, a security SaaS company, announced that Deepa Prashant has joined the company as vice president of finance and administration. Prior to joining CloudPassage, Prashant was acting CFO and VP of finance at FusionOne.

"Deepa brings extensive finance experience and skill to the team," said Carson Sweet, co-founder and CEO of CloudPassage. "Her capabilities are going to be key to managing our growth in a healthy and stable way. We're delighted that she has chosen to join CloudPassage."

Prashant has more than 16 years of finance and accounting experience in large enterprises and smaller Bay Area start-ups. At both General Electric and McAfee, she managed the finances of multi-billion dollar businesses. Prashant also played a pivotal role in selling two Silicon Valley start-ups, Pacific Broadband Communications and FusionOne Inc., to large public corporations. In addition, Prashant led the Sarbanes Oxley effort at Intellisync, has led companies through raising financing, and completed financial due diligence for multiple mergers and acquisitions.

Prashant holds a bachelor of science degree in physics and a master of science degree in marketing from universities in India, and an MBA in finance from the University of San Francisco.
