Proximex and SAIC Sign Reseller Agreement

Proximex has signed a reseller agreement with Scientific Applications International Corp. (SAIC). SAIC will resell Surveillint and use the Surveillint SDK to develop integration modules for specific advanced security sensors and back scatter scanners as part of the SAIC Management System. SAIC is demonstrating Surveillint at the eighth annual Force Protection Equipment Demonstration (FPED VIII) conference from May 17 - 19, 2011 at the Stafford Regional Airport in Stafford, Va.

"Our customers consistently look to us for ways to enhance their security environments and reduce costs by providing sustainable solutions," said Matthew Van Haaren, vice president for SAIC. "Surveillint is a strong complement to our product portfolio as it lets organizations extend the life of their security systems and add the best technologies as need and budget allow. By integrating it with our sensors and advanced security platforms, our customers are able to glean important and reliable information from their SAIC systems."

At FPED 2011, SAIC is showing Surveillint in conjunction with its Mobile Command Center (MCC) family of products designed for both maritime and land-based surveillance and security applications. The MCC can be used to provide an integrated surveillance solution for a wide area of coverage. The advanced security sensors and back scatter scanners are used with the SAIC Management System, an advanced perimeter security software package featuring built-in support for radar systems and infrared imaging technologies.

"We're very pleased SAIC has chosen to resell Surveillint," said Pat Reilly, vice president of worldwide sales and business development for Proximex. "Surveillint's open architecture is ideal for integrating the large breadth of SAIC's security systems. Whether the system is new or already installed at the customer's location, our SDK is flexible enough to work in any security environment."
