Honeywell Metropolis Chooses RealViews CommandScope for Emergency Response Trailer

RealView LLC, a Microsoft Partner providing mobile inspection and emergency pre-plan programs for fire departments, office buildings, hospitality, education and others, announced Honeywell-Metropolis has chosen its CommandScope Fire/Emergency Pre-plan Solution to outfit its new emergency response trailer. The advanced command center was designed to ensure emergency response teams are prepared to handle a variety of scenarios, and will depend on CommandScope for vital strategy and data.

Honeywell-Metropolis, located in southern Illinois, recently purchased the 36-foot trailer built specifically for the safety and security needs of their local works plant. The vehicle is equipped with a variety of advanced technology and design features, and will provide personnel everything they need to respond to scenarios including injury, confined space retrieval, search and rescue, and chemical spill and control mitigation.

The onboard command center will feature RealView’s CommandScope to provide vital, real-time intelligence during incident response. CommandScope is a pre-incident planning software that assures less property damage and saves lives in the event of an incident. Designed to combat these incidents with advance strategy and actionable information, the CommandScope Programs provide first responders with an electronic pre-plan vital for a more effective emergency response. Operating from an onboard computer, CommandScope will provide the incident commander and technical support personal with detailed floor plans, piping and equipment maps, hazardous materials locations, pre-fire plans and more to enable faster, more effective response in an emergency.

“Honeywell-Metropolis is a highly-progressive municipality that takes safety extremely seriously – and it’s demonstrating that with this command center purchase,” said Stephen Nardi, president of RealView. “First responders will have everything they need to effectively manage a variety of incidents and we’re proud CommandScope can provide the intelligence behind it all.”
