Verint Systems Inc., provider of networked video solutions, recently announced that a North American university has completed implementation of the Nextiva IP Video Management solution from Verint Video Intelligence Solutions and is using the technology to help ensure a safe learning and working environment for its students, faculty and staff.
In 2010, the university (whose name cannot be revealed) embarked on a major campus renovation program, investing in state-of-the-art technologies. As part of the modernization initiative, its officials sought a powerful, reliable and highly scalable video security solution to help monitor and safeguard its vast campus.
The university’s requirements included a comprehensive, open-architecture security management solution that combined cutting-edge technology with an advanced storage platform.
