Women’s Security Council Welcomes ADT, Tyco Fire & Security as New Platinum Sponsors

The Women’s Security Council (WSC), a network of security professionals focused on promoting the success of women in the security industry, announces ADT and Tyco Fire & Security, business units of Tyco International, as Platinum Sponsors.

“As industry leaders, it is a natural fit for ADT and Tyco Fire & Security to be leading partners with WSC and its quest to help empower women to reach new professional heights in all areas of our businesses,” said Deborah Tsai-Munster, senior director of global diversity and inclusion for Tyco International. “The organization’s support and networking system is critical to succeeding in today’s market and we are honored to be associated with WSC as it builds upon its current and future initiatives.”

The sponsorship enables WSC, a nonprofit, to continue promoting the role of women in the security marketplace while providing robust networking options at national conferences. The support of ADT and Tyco Fire & Security enables WSC to build upon its mentoring program to help those interested in a security career realize advancement opportunities and introduce newcomers to the benefits of working in the security industry.

“The support of ADT and Tyco Fire & Security helps WSC further secure the future and current role of women in security,” said Rhianna Daniels, managing director, CompassPR and a WSC Founding Committee Member. “Sponsors are critical to continuing to enhance WSC’s visibility and we are pleased to have innovative, industry leaders like ADT and Tyco Fire & Security to help us pave the way for future growth and opportunities.”

WSC continues to help women stay competitive in today’s dynamic industry by updating them with industry trends through online Webinars and the eWSC newsletter. WSC also hosts the annual WSC Women of the Year awards program and helps women in the industry build professional development networks through receptions at national conventions including ISC West and ISC Solutions.
