ASSA ABLOY Displays Aperio Wireless Lock Technology at Security Essen

ASSA ABLOY, provider of door opening solutions will showcase their world-class Aperio wireless lock technology for complementing access control systems at the SECURITY exhibition Essen. With its wireless Aperio technology, ASSA ABLOY provides further proof of its leading global market position in the field of high-tech locking solutions.

Aperio wirelessly integrates mechanical locks into new and existing access control systems for easy and cost-effective system expansion, making it the most widely available wireless solution for integrating additional doors via online and offline devices.

The HID Genuine certified Aperio technology is suitable for integration with HID technologies and controllers and supports in addition to high frequency RFID technologies iCLASS, MIFARE and DESFire now 125 kHz Proximity (HID PROX/ EM410).

Now available with new capabilities including a greater capacity to integrate to even more systems and a broader range of cylinder and escutcheon designs, Aperio has become the first e-lock solution available globally to support 125kHz (HID PROX and EM410x) trusted RFID technology.

Says Chris Bone, Vice President Access Control EMEA: “Aperio now offers security installers the opportunity to work across all sectors with a product portfolio that is cost effective and can be installed and integrated into new or existing systems, with minimal disruption to daily operations. This is great news ultimately for the end user.” The NFC enabled Aperio wireless RFID reader locks are part of ASSA ABLOY's award winning Seos ecosystem to power mobile access. ASSA ABLOY will demonstrate its Seos ecosystem of interoperable products and services for issuing, delivering and revoking digital keys on NFC mobile devices so they can be used to open doors to homes, hotels, offices, hospitals, universities, industries and commercial.
