Code Blue Corporation Releases Blue Alert First Responder

Code Blue Corporation, a global leader in producing emergency communication solutions, has announced the release of Blue Alert First Responder.  Designed specifically for colleges, hospitals, corporations and municipalities, Blue Alert First Responder is a suite of innovative, incident-response solutions that efficiently and effectively detect and respond when a situation occurs.

“Code Blue’s Blue Alert First Responder fills a need in the marketplace for an incident response solution that is both comprehensive and cost-effective,” said Chief Operating Officer, David Cook.  “When combined with our industry-leading Help Points and Emergency Signaling devices, First Responder becomes the ideal solution for mass notification and event management.”

Blue Alert First Responder is comprised of three unique software applications, providing an all-encompassing and user-friendly solution for security personnel:

Blue Alert MNS: The next generation of Code Blue’s award-winning Blue Alert PAS software, Blue Alert MNS provides CAP compliant mass notifications at the touch of a button to an array of systems including: blue light phones, public address speakers, digital signs, fire, email, SMS and social media.  The software also includes custom integration capabilities that can be used to connect with other third-party security devices and platforms. The result is a sophisticated, software solution that quickly informs and directs people in emergency situations.

Blue Alert Mobile powered by Guardly: The first results of the partnership between Code Blue and Toronto-based Guardly Corp., Blue Alert Mobile, powered by Guardly, enhances incident response solutions through the power of mobile.  The cross-platform app transforms smartphones into “mobile help points” that can notify emergency contacts and security personnel, while providing real-time communication and location tracking until people are out of harm’s way.

Blue Alert EMS: Code Blue’s Event Management System (EMS) handles all incoming emergency and non-emergency events with an easy-to-use interface. Responders can effectively respond to incidents by remotely controlling emergency communication devices, while the system securely archives the incident data for future reference.

“To be an efficient solution to incident response, Code Blue understands the importance of integrating with our partners in the security sector,” said John Lapham, vice president of sales and marketing with Code Blue. “Blue Alert First Responder provides security personnel with a platform that is capable of quickly communicating with third-party platforms, without having to log into each one separately.”

Blue Alert First Responder is available through authorized Code Blue dealers beginning in February.
