Core Decisions at the Edge

Infinias’ network-based solutions enable decision-making at the door, delivering quicker response and full redundancy. The infinias eIDC32 door controller mounts quickly and easily at the door, while infinias’ powerful Intelli-M Access software enables core decision-making at the edge.

Infinias intelli-M access can be run from across the hall, across the street—or across the world. With no dedicated server hardware, the network based virtual environment enhances system reliability, increases scalability and simplifies systems and administrative management.

Stores all Permissions and Credentials at the eIDC32 Door Controller

Intelli-M Access conveniently stores all permissions, credentials and access control rules at the eIDC32 door controller—up to 64,000 card holder credentials at each door—eliminating the dependency of needing to perform basic access control functions on an always-on network or server. Each eIDC32 door controller stores up to 16,000 events in its database in case of a network or server outage, and transfers these old stored events to the server once network connectivity has been restored.

The high-performance eIDC32 door controller features peer-to-peer communication and can handle more cards, more scheduling, more rules and many other functions than most single door controllers on the market. In fact, this powerful door controller provides power and multiple configurable inputs and outputs to handle nearly every type of installation.

Grows with Your Business

The highly-scalable eIDC32 door controller enables you to add as many doors as you need to your network—from a single door, to thousands, based on your organization’s needs. As a single-door solution the eIDC32 door controller comes equipped with an embedded web server, eliminating the need for a separate server or workstation software—you can simply browse through the device’s IP address, configure your system, and you’re ready to go.

Provides Centralized Power Management

Additionally, power over Ethernet (PoE) powers the eIDC32 door controller and peripheral door hardware such as card readers, door strikes, REX’s and sensors, and provides centralized power management for all eIDC32 devices, minimizing downtime, and reducing installation and maintenance costs.

3 Tiers of Software to for Enhanced Access Control

To further enhance the overall access control experience, infinias offers dedicated servers pre-installed and pre-configured with the infinias Intelli-M Access Essentials software application for convenient centralized management of all access control resources. You can manage Intelli-M Access from anywhere you can run a standard JavaScript enabled web browser—from your laptop, iOS device or your Android smartphone.

Infinias also offers Intelli-M Access Professional software that provides all the basic functions of Intelli-M Access Essentials, plus enhanced functionality with key features such as LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) for Active Directory synchronization. Intelli-M Access Professional also offers calendar integration with Microsoft Outlook, Exchange and Google Calendar, further simplifying system management and administrative maintenance.

A step beyond Intelli-M Access Professional software is Intelli-M Access Corporate, which provides convenient multi-tier management capabilities, and is ideal for large enterprises with multiple locations on a nationwide and global level. Intelli-M Access Corporate simplifies installation of access control systems consisting of multiple sites, separated by long distances and provides additional multi-tier support for large, multi-site organizations.

An Edge-based Solution with Many Benefits

Infinias edge-based access control solutions simplify installation, as well as systems and administrative management, and provide a cost-effective access control solution that can grow with your organization’s growing needs—providing truly flexible and scalable solution.
