IDIS Launches IDIS America at ISC West

On the opening day of ISC West, the largest security trade show in the United States, IDIS formalized the launch of IDIS America, confirming the appointments of Andrew Myung and Keith Drummond as the regional subsidiary's President and Senior Sales Director, respectively. In addition, IDIS announced the opening of a new American headquarters in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area, demonstrating a permanent commitment to the company's brand business in the Americas.

IDIS, a global surveillance powerhouse since 1997 (with an annual turnover of $400 million across all holdings and more than 2.4 million installations worldwide) confirmed that Andrew Myung, a long-time veteran IDIS global business executive, has been named President, IDIS America. Myung has been responsible for developing existing partnerships and new business channels globally, since first joining IDIS in 2001.

Most recently, Myung oversaw sales operations and droves IDIS international strategy for sales and marketing, including the go-to-market planning for the IDIS brand business in America, now fully realized with the launch of IDIS America.

IDIS also announced the appointment of Keith Drummond to the executive position of Senior Sales Director for the Americas.

A 20-year veteran of the surveillance, security, and technology industries, Drummond brings experience in all aspects of management, leadership, sales and sales strategy, business development, and expansion strategy to his new role. As Senior Sales Director, Drummond will develop North and South American markets, leading a sales team and working with new customers—including installers, integrators, distributors, and end users—facilitating customer support and training.

IDIS also revealed the opening of a permanent regional headquarters in Coppell, Texas. The IDIS America headquarters, already open and operational, features 15,245 square feet of commercial/industrial space, including 6,000 sq ft of office space and 9,245 sq ft of warehouse space. The new location will serve as home base for the majority of IDIS America's employees, including the region's executive leadership, expected to grow to more than two dozen in 2015.

Keith Drummond, Senior Sales Director, IDIS America, said, "IDIS is fully committed to the expansion of our brand business to the Americas. The appointment of experienced leadership, as well as the selection of a respected technical and sales staff permanently based here in the United States clearly demonstrates our long-term investment in the region.

Establishing a regional headquarters here will further guarantee the kind of high-quality, localized approach to customer service that is appreciated by IDIS customers around the world."

IDIS formalized the launch of IDIS America at ISC West, in conjunction with the American debut of the company's signature surveillance solution, IDIS DirectIP™—an end-to-end, single sourced offering that delivers unrivalled plug-and-play simplicity, combined with highest-quality performance, compatibility, and a low total cost of ownership.
