Oncam to Showcase Evolution-12 Camera Line at ASIS International 2015

Oncam, the security division of Oncam Technologies, announced that they will showcase the newest line of cameras, Evolution-12, at ASIS 2015 International Seminar and Exhibits, Sept. 28 through Oct. 1, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. The technologies deliver constant 360-degree situational awareness with full live and retrospective dewarping, and all Evolution-12 cameras are designed for quick, easy and secure installation.

The Evolution-12 suite of surveillance cameras leverage a 12-megapixel 4K Exmor R sensor to deliver an impressive 9.6 MP high-resolution image, even in low-light conditions. Evolution-12 offers simultaneous multiple video streams with up to 30 fps at 2MP and up to 14 fps at other resolutions. Oncam supports both ePTZ dewarping on the camera and 3D dewarping technology on the client side, providing four independent dewarped views (Vcams) at up to 1MP each. All Evolution-12 cameras integrate with today’s leading video management and network recording systems, enabling system flexibility and scalability.

The Evolution-12 suite of surveillance technologies feature two indoor cameras and one outdoor camera, all of which provide constant 360-degree situational awareness with no blind spots, no moving parts and silent operation.

  • The Evolution-12 360-degree Outdoor Camera enables users to expand their surveillance network to outdoor perimeters. Its professional rugged enclosure is designed for harsh and humid outdoor environments.
  • The Evolution-12 360-degree Indoor Concealed Camera provides discreet installation with a low profile. Its professional lightweight enclosure can be completely concealed behind ceiling or walls.
  • The Evolution-12 360-degree Indoor Camera is designed to fit into environments where a wall or ceiling mount is required. Its streamlined design is ideal for installation in aesthetically driven facilities.

“Oncam’s latest innovations in the Evolution-12 line offer end users the flexibility to deploy cameras that produce high-resolution, high-quality images in a wide variety of environments,” said Jumbi Edulbehram, regional president, Americas, Oncam. “Not only do these cameras provide the utmost in image quality, they are designed to integrate seamlessly with leading video management platforms, adding extensive functionality and ease of deployment for end users.”
