Five Dead in Capital Gazette Newsroom Shooting, Suspect in Custody

Five people have been killed in a shooting at a local newspaper building in Maryland.

Police have confirmed five people have died as a result of the shooting in Annapolis, Maryland. There are also several injures, the injured victims have been taken to area hospitals.

A suspect is in custody, but four people have been killed in a shooting at a local newspaper building in Maryland.

The shooting took place at the Capital Gazette newspaper. Police evacuated the building as employees excited from the building with hands raised above their heads. The Gazette is a local newspaper owned by The Baltimore Sun. The gunman shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees.

Police are looking for other dangers, such as bombs and other gunmen.
