SALTO Enhances Ecosystem Partnerships with new Technical Sales Team

“We’re excited to announce the addition of our Technical Sales Team,” said Colin DePree, Sales Strategy, at SALTO North America. “As the security and access control industry continues to evolve, our platforms often become components of larger ecosystems. To meet this demand and improve our organization’s ability to play a role in these ecosystems, our technical sales team will focus on platform excellence.”

Vasili Kourelos, SALTO Senior Technical Sales Lead, manages the team. Prior to joining SALTO this year, Kourelos worked as an electrical engineer in South Africa focused on turnkey building solutions involving access control, power and lighting services.

“As integration partnerships become more and more important in this industry, I’m excited to lead the first integration-focused specialist team in North America. We will streamline the way we identify and onboard our future ecosystem partners while re-energizing and simplifying the partnerships already in place,” Kourelos said.

Roland Smith is the technical sales lead for the SALTO ProAccess SPACE Platform. Smith has been with SALTO for eight and a half years, previously serving as solutions architect and product implementation manager in the hospitality vertical. He brings a wealth of advanced platform knowledge and a calm professional demeanor.

As technical sales lead for the SALTO KS Platform, Miles Ethridge will use his vast SALTO KS knowledge and client-first approach to set the standard for SALTO platform partnerships. Ethridge has been with SALTO for seven years. He has a bachelor of science from the University of South Alabama.

Nicholas Buffington, who now serves as product manager, and will lead SALTO hardware and software communications as SALTO’s offerings continuously evolve. Buffington has been with SALTO North America for five years and previously served as technical support manager and technical support specialist. A customer-centric, helpful and enquiring attitude will serve Buffington well in his new role.

“The technical sales team will help SALTO North America create fantastic opportunities to deploy our solutions successfully across all of our verticals with partners that leverage access as part of a larger solution,” said DePree. “At the end of the day this team is about delivering what end users are demanding today – experience.”
