Registration Opens for Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2022

ASIS International, the world’s largest association for security management professionals, has opened registration for Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2022, a hybrid event taking place 12-14 September that will offer a digital experience on the GSX online platform as well as an in-person event at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) in Atlanta, GA.

“Globally and locally, a rapidly evolving threat landscape is creating gaps in our defenses and cracks in practices and protocols we once thought were written in stone,” said Malcolm Smith, CPP, 2022 President, ASIS International. “GSX is the industry’s most trusted event—and exactly where you and your team need to be to build resilience in the face of fast-moving change. Managing risk in today’s environment means security professionals need to navigate a level complexity the likes of which we have not seen before. Our community has never seen a time where in-person collaboration was more important than it is right now, and nobody does community better than ASIS.”

Only GSX brings the entire world of security together in one place to stay ahead of the biggest trends and challenges—in access control, asset protection, surveillance, remote workforces, workplace violence, cybersecurity, business continuity, crisis management, and more—through cross-industry networking and a full slate of specialized education with the potential to earn up to 22 CPEs. GSX registration costs are discounted for ASIS International members.

The GSX 2022 All-Access Pass unlocks more than 175 live sessions, including inspiring education sessions, expert-led tracks, exhibitor presentations, timely General Sessions, and digital content. For those not able to attend GSX in person, livestreaming of educational sessions and re-broadcasts of certain sessions will occur throughout the event. The full session lineup will be revealed by May.

If you plan to attend GSX in person, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with more than 300 industry-leading innovative companies to discuss today’s most critical issues and get an advance look at the latest innovations addressing the security profession’s greatest challenges.

GSX also serves as the setting to celebrate the annual ASIS Awards of Excellence recognizing the important work and accomplishments of security management professionals worldwide -- honoring them not only for their accomplishments but also to share their efforts and to recognize them for setting the standard for the security profession.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
