Huntress Expands Partner Program to Resellers

The cybersecurity provider aims to bridge the resource gap for the 99% of companies falling outside the Fortune 1000.

Huntress is expanding its partner program to include resellers, a move designed to broaden the reach of its security platform to organizations that lack the resources of the world’s largest enterprises.

The expansion builds on the company's decade-long history with managed service providers. By opening the ecosystem to resellers, the firm seeks to address a growing disparity in the digital landscape: while large corporations often have robust defenses, smaller businesses remain disproportionately targeted by cybercriminals.

According to recent data from Microsoft Security, one in three small and medium-sized businesses fell victim to a cyberattack within the last year. These resource gaps often leave the businesses that form the backbone of the global economy vulnerable to business email compromise and ransomware.

“Cybercriminals are relentless and opportunistic, disproportionately targeting the most vulnerable businesses regardless of size or industry,” said Tuan Nguyen, vice president of channels and alliances at Huntress. “Together, Huntress and our partners are the global force multiplier that makes protection possible for those most often left behind.”

The company’s platform utilizes agentic AI-powered security operations center (SOC) teams to provide endpoint detection and response (EDR) and identity threat detection. This managed approach is intended to reduce the burden of alert fatigue and "false positives" that frequently overwhelm internal IT teams at smaller firms.

The program expansion has gained international traction, aligning with regional security initiatives such as the Australia Cyber Security Strategy 2023-2030. Michael Zuppa, CEO of blueAPACHE, noted that the partnership allows the firm to support strengthened resilience across organizations of every size.

The updated reseller program provides access to the full suite of Huntress security tools, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and security awareness training. The platform currently supports more than 200,000 organizations and 5 million endpoints worldwide across Microsoft, MacOS, and Linux environments.

As part of the rollout, resellers will have access to co-marketing opportunities and technical support tailored to their specific business models, enabling them to deliver managed security outcomes without the need for extensive internal SOC infrastructure.
