Johnson Controls Unveils Integrated Security Upgrades at ISC West

The company’s latest platform enhancements aim to streamline workflows and improve incident response for mission-critical facilities.

Johnson Controls is set to debut new platform capabilities and system enhancements at the ISC West conference, focusing on reducing complexity for security teams managing large-scale facilities.

The company will showcase updates to its intrusion, video, and access control platforms at the event, which runs March 23-27. The move comes as security leaders increasingly turn to automation and AI-driven analytics to manage more sophisticated threats with fewer personnel.

"Security teams today are being asked to do more with fewer resources while threats grow more complex," said Faisal Pandit, president of building management systems at Johnson Controls. "Our latest updates are focused on bringing systems together, simplifying workflows and providing clearer insight."

Key releases include the PowerSeries Neo 5 and IQ Panel 5 intrusion platforms, which now support hybrid configurations and easier hardware upgrades. The company is also introducing C•CURE IQ 3.2, a system designed to combine video management and standardized incident workflows into a single interface.

The goal of the integration is to reduce the manual steps required during an investigation, according to company officials. Additional updates to the portfolio include version 9.10 of Kantech EntraPass and new Illustra multisensor cameras, which provide broader coverage for high-stakes environments like data centers and healthcare icons.

Greg Parker, global vice president of lifecycle solutions at Johnson Controls, said the focus remains on interoperability.

"By bringing platforms together and applying automation where it matters most, we help customers strengthen security operations and support long-term performance across mission-critical environments," Parker said.
