Codelocks Debuts Mobile App for Remote Access Management

New mobile functionality allows building managers to generate and share time-sensitive entry codes directly from smartphone devices.

Codelocks announced the launch of the Codelocks Connect App, a mobile platform designed to streamline remote access management for business owners and facility managers.

The application allows users to create and distribute access codes via email or SMS. It utilizes proprietary technology to generate time-sensitive codes with specific start dates and durations. Once the designated time expires, the codes automatically lapse, providing a solution for environments requiring temporary access such as sports facilities, event spaces and delivery lockers.

The mobile platform serves as an extension of the existing desktop-based portal. It allows for the registration of new locks during the installation process and synchronizes data across both platforms. The system supports multiple administrators, enabling teams to share management responsibilities for a single lock or a group of devices.

The app is compatible with several hardware lines, including various locker and electronic door locks. It is currently available for iOS and Android devices.
