Ark Strategic and ZeroEyes Launch 3D Mapping Partnership

New integration combines visual threat intelligence with immersive mapping to improve emergency response times and navigation.

ZeroEyes has announced a partnership with Ark Strategic to integrate 3D mapping technology into its visual threat intelligence platform.

The collaboration provides a solution that combines aerial and interior mapping to assist schools, law enforcement and first responders during critical incidents. Currently in limited release, the technology is designed to offer situational awareness beyond traditional 2D floor plans.

Ark Strategic’s solution utilizes proprietary drone systems and sensors to capture high-resolution imagery of building exteriors. For interior spaces, the company uses LIDAR and artificial intelligence to create interactive 3D point clouds. These maps allow users to identify the locations of security cameras and safety equipment, such as automated external defibrillators.

When integrated with the ZeroEyes AI threat detection software, the system layers intelligence onto existing digital security cameras. If the software identifies a weapon, images are sent to a monitoring center staffed by military and law enforcement veterans. Once a threat is verified, alerts are dispatched to local authorities within seconds.

For locations utilizing the 3D mapping, camera alerts are tied to specific positions on the digital map. This allows responders to see camera fields of view and potential blind spots while navigating unfamiliar buildings. The cloud-based system requires no hardware installation for local law enforcement agencies.

The partnership follows a series of technical expansions for the company. ZeroEyes recently expanded its portfolio with the release of an off-network AI gun detection solution, designed to protect environments with limited internet connectivity, further building out its suite of real-time investigative tools.

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.

Shooter Detection Systems (SDS), an Alarm.com company and a global leader in gunshot detection solutions, has introduced ResponderLink, a groundbreaking new 911 notification service for gunshot events. ResponderLink completes the circle from detection to 911 notification to first responder awareness, giving law enforcement enhanced situational intelligence they urgently need to save lives. Integrating SDS’s proven gunshot detection system with Noonlight’s SendPolice platform, ResponderLink is the first solution to automatically deliver real-time gunshot detection data to 911 call centers and first responders. When shots are detected, the 911 dispatching center, also known as the Public Safety Answering Point or PSAP, is contacted based on the gunfire location, enabling faster initiation of life-saving emergency protocols.
