Savant Integrates Schlage Wi-Fi Smart Locks

Homeowners can now monitor and control Schlage Encode deadbolts directly through the Savant smart home app.

Savant has announced a new integration with the Schlage Encode family of smart Wi-Fi deadbolts, expanding the security capabilities of its smart home platform.

The integration allows users to monitor alerts and send lock or unlock commands from the primary Savant interface. Homeowners can also view live camera feeds and receive personalized notifications regarding the status of their entry points.

The Schlage Encode family of locks is now compatible with Savant’s automated scenes and voice commands. Through the Savant Door Lock Service, integrators can link specific camera feeds to each lock, allowing users to view the surrounding area of a doorway before granting access.

The partnership aims to provide home builders and professional integrators with more streamlined security options. By combining Savant’s automation software with Schlage’s hardware, users can manage home security alongside lighting, climate and entertainment systems within a single application.
