AMAG Partners With SwiftConnect for Digital Wallet Innovation

The expanded collaboration enables Apple Wallet and Google Wallet mobile credential activation across the AMAG Technology access control portfolio.

Access control provider AMAG Technology has expanded its strategic partnership with SwiftConnect to integrate native mobile credentials into its security ecosystem. Through this agreement, SwiftConnect will serve as the technical backbone for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet activations across AMAG’s product lines.

The move marks a transition toward a mobile-first identity strategy, allowing users to store digital office keys directly on their smartphones. By leveraging SwiftConnect’s network, AMAG aims to provide enterprise and critical infrastructure clients with a more streamlined method for managing and deploying credentials.

This integration focuses on enhancing the user experience by utilizing Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Unlike traditional physical badges or third-party apps that require a phone to be unlocked, native wallet credentials allow for a "tap-and-go" experience similar to using a digital credit card.

Company officials stated that the partnership reflects a broader commitment to an open, partner-driven approach to security. By aligning with specialized technology providers, the firm intends to accelerate the delivery of scalable, secure and user-centric access solutions for its global customer base.
