PSG Vice President Named Texas Innovation Award Honoree

Jeremy Freeze-Skret receives recognition for advancing Zero Trust principles and scene authentication technology in physical security.

Texas Christian University has named Jeremy Freeze-Skret, vice president of engineering at Prometheus Security Group Global, a Small Business Innovator at the inaugural Texas Innovation Awards.

The awards, held during the Texas Innovation Conference, recognize individuals and companies driving economic growth and technological advancement across the state. Honorees are selected from a pool of researchers, industry leaders and federal grant recipients.

Freeze-Skret oversees engineering efforts at PSG, where he focuses on integrating Zero Trust Architecture into physical security systems. This approach applies identity, authentication and data integrity standards to hardware such as sensors, access control systems and video cameras.

The recognition highlights PSG’s work on its Scene Authentication technology. The patented system extends security protocols beyond the camera hardware and into the physical environment captured on screen. The technology is designed to address vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure by ensuring that video feeds have not been altered or manipulated.

The Texas Innovation Conference serves as a hub for startups and researchers to accelerate the commercialization of new technologies within the state's ecosystem. Freeze-Skret’s work in the field includes multiple patents aimed at modernizing legacy operational technology and video systems.

    A8V MIND

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
