DMP JamAlert Earns UL Certification

The cellular jamming detection technology is now approved for use in commercial burglary applications requiring UL 2610 standards.

DMP has secured UL 2610 certification for its JamAlert cellular jamming detection technology.

The UL 2610 standard governs the design, construction and performance of commercial premises security alarm units and systems. The certification validates the technology's reliability and expands its use in regulated environments.

Cellular jamming is an increasing concern in the security industry. Verifying detection tools' effectiveness is difficult because jamming devices are restricted, making field testing impractical for dealers and end users.

UL evaluated the technology under controlled conditions to confirm it meets established safety and security standards. The third-party verification enables deployment without independent field testing.

The certification qualifies JamAlert for broader commercial and enterprise applications, including those with strict insurance or Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements. It streamlines approvals for projects requiring UL-listed equipment.

JamAlert integrates with alarm systems to detect and alert on potential cellular interference, supporting uninterrupted alarm communication.
