Security LeadHER 2026 Announces Program for Minneapolis Gathering

Industry leaders and experts will convene in June to address professional development, leadership strategies and innovation for women in security.

Security professionals will gather in Minneapolis for the fourth annual Security LeadHER conference June 15-16.

The event, hosted by ASIS International and the SIA, focuses on women in the security industry. It will take place at the Hilton Minneapolis.

The agenda includes three keynote presentations. Organizational psychologist Alison Fragale, author of "Likeable Badass," opens the event June 15 with a discussion on the science of status, career success and gender differences in power dynamics.

Workplace consultant Minda Harts, author of "Talk to Me Nice: The Seven Trust Languages for a Better Workplace," speaks June 16 on self-advocacy strategies and professional communication.

The conference closes June 16 with a panel on sponsorship and allyship in security careers. Panelists include Karen Frank, managing director and head of firm safety and security services at KPMG US; Kim Fearno, regional vice president at Convergint; Emy Johnson, vice president and chief security officer for security and business continuity at Allina Health; and Alaina Meyer, president of scDataCom. Frank will moderate.

Other sessions cover artificial intelligence and generational leadership, social engineering, career navigation, personal branding and workforce development. Preconference tours visit the Mall of America security operations, Axis Experience Center and Target Corporate Command Center. A networking reception is scheduled for June 15 evening.
