ProdataKey Celebrates 15 Years of Access Control Innovation

An access control manufacturer is marking a decade and a half of operations in the commercial electronic security market.

Cloud-based physical security provider ProdataKey is celebrating its 15th anniversary following a period of market expansion across North America.

The vendor entered the market with an initial focus on modernizing traditional physical security hardware. Over the last 15 years, the company has transitioned from a localized startup into an enterprise-level provider of web-connected security technologies. Its products are currently deployed across commercial, educational, healthcare and corporate environments.

During its tenure in the electronic security sector, the manufacturer has secured several industry accolades for its hardware and software developments. These include the Security Sales & Integration MVP Award, the Security Today GOVIES Award and the ADI Product of the Year. The company has also maintained a decade-long presence on the Mountain West Capital Network Utah 100 list, which tracks regional business growth.

Company leadership indicated that future corporate strategy will remain focused on developing wireless and web-hosted access control hardware while expanding its regional integrator distribution network.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
